by Ivy D. Bonador
“This is not achieved overnight. It was a collaboration all thru the years of the different stakeholders in our school.”
“For 69 years, we’ve been trying to collaborate with our partners in the community. We had been collaborating internally in the school that’s why we had come to that level.”
Mrs. Gina L. Obierna, Principal II of Eulogio Rodriguez Jr. High School commended the school community for receiving a School-Based Management Level 3 Accreditation, the highest level of recognition given to SBM best implementer. The school is one of the two high schools awarded in the division of Quezon City along with North Fairview High School.
“When we were assessed, they looked at our different principles: our leadership and governance, curriculum and learning, accountability and continuous improvement and resource management,” the principal explained.
The Schools Division of Quezon City thru the School Governance and Operations Division’s 2nd SBM 2020 Gawad Parangal credited the school’s exceptionally outstanding support to the implementation of the School-Based Management principles and practices in the promotion of quality, accessible and lifelong education on Friday, June 11, 2021 aired on SDO-QC’s Facebook page.
“We need to continue doing all the great practices that we do so that we will continue to espouse that maturity level or the advance level of the School-Based Management,” Mrs. Obierna stated.
To receive this merit meant that the school had ensured the production of intended outcomes and meeting all standards of a system, fully integrated in the local community and is self-renewing and self-sustaining adherent to DepEd Order No. 83 s.2012.
Mrs. Obierna further encouraged the school’s community to give the best education to all learners.
“With the continuous collaboration of the school and its stakeholders, Eulogio Rodriguez Jr. High School, will strive even more to be relevant, resilient, and effective school despite adversities as we are one with Dep-Ed in the pursuit of Sulong- Edukalidad.”
“We will keep on providing our learners with quality, relevant, equitable learning opportunities thru various modalities equipping them with core values and 21st Century Skills for them to become EROD: Excellent, Resilient, Obedient and Diligent lifelong learners.”
